Moana is a musical adventure film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures.
And, can you believe it is the 56th film in the Disney animated feature canon?
Basically, if you are one of the 4 people that have not seen it yet, it is a “mythic adventure set around 2000 years ago and across a series of islands in the South Pacific.” The film follows the journey of a spirited teenager named Moana as she embarks on a quest across the Pacific Ocean to save her people.
And it has inspired millions.
Including Working with Lemons.
They returned from Hawaii where they filmed a series of Moana-inspired videos. The first one can be seen in this post. The second of the three is Maui’s “You’re Welcome.” “I am Moana” is the final video in the installment.
Claire Ryan, another LDS artist, sang this song on THE ELLEN SHOW. Watch it HERE!
The description below is included in the Working With Lemons “How Far I’ll Go” video:
You’ve watched the Moana Movie and seen the trailer – now see the Disney Princess in “Real Life” in Working with Lemons official music video – How Far I’ll Go.
Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Originally sung by Auli’i Cravalho and Alessia Cara (with her pop rendition) we introduce you to our Moana, Angeline Madriaga. Also known as Viana.
Sorry—pig and chicken not included.
Filmed on location on Oahu at the amazing Polynesian Cultural Center. Special thanks to Arthur Mooso, David Tiave, Kaylani Pula, Seth Casey, Steve, Richard Sidal, and the incredible cast at the PCC. Stop by and tell them we sent you! http://www.polynesia.com/
Can’t say how much we appreciated John Bisceglie and the San Francisco Children’s Musical Theater for all their help to make this happen! From finding Angeline to recording her vocals! Couldn’t have done it without you! Check them out:

Lyrics for Moana’s HOW FAR I’LL GO:
I’ve been standing at the edge of the water
‘Long as I can remember, never really knowing why
I wish I could be the perfect daughter
But I come back to the water, no matter how hard I tryEvery turn I take, every trail I track
Every path I make, every road leads back
To the place I know, where I can not go
Though I long to beSee the line where the sky meets the sea it calls me
And no one knows, how far it goes
If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me
One day I’ll know, if I go there’s just no telling how far I’ll goOh oh oh, oh, oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh
I know, everybody on this island seems so happy on this island
Everything is by design
I know, everybody on this island has a role on this island
So maybe I can roll with mineI can lead with pride, I can make us strong
I’ll be satisfied if I play along
But the voice inside sings a different song
What is wrong with me?See the light as it shines on the sea it’s blinding
But no one knows, how deep it goes
And it seems like it’s calling out to me, so come find me
And let me know, what’s beyond that line, will I cross that line?See the line where the sky meets the sea it calls me
And no one knows, how far it goes
If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me
One day I’ll know, how far I’ll go
