This touching film, based on Craig S. Buehner’s novel, is the transformation story of a teenaged girl named Jennifer. She is self-absorbed and irresponsible, and her father thinks some service at the community homeless shelter is a perfect antidote. Through serving there and serving her sickly mother, Jennifer learns valuable lessons about charity, love, and friendship.

This journey has traditionally been by gathering together…through assembling in synagogues…mosques…cathedrals…and other holy sanctuaries. But in 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, that abruptly changed – as worship halls throughout the world closed their doors. This included services for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a global faith with a membership of more than 16 million members in nearly 200 nations and territories and 31,000 congregations.
