We are really impressed with (and totally support) the work that Lindsay and Lexie Kite are doing with Beauty Redefined!
They have even worked with Mallory from Studio C!
They are LDS, although their work appeals to a broader audience.
They’ve done many stake and regional firesides across the U.S., and find that their work really resonates with LDS audiences because their approach to body image and body positivity is radically different than others in the field (and very in line with many Gospel teachings).
They teach that the key to positive body image is to help women understand they are MORE than bodies and MORE than beautiful.
Girls and women are suffering with poor body image not only because of the unattainable ways beauty is defined, but because they are being defined by beauty. That is the basis of their research in body image resilience, or the ability to grow stronger because of pain—not in spite of the pain and anxiety experienced through our bodies.

I totally disagree as an LDS female. I WANT guys to tell me I’m beautiful.
I want guys to notice when I do things differently. Other girls like Mallory at Studio C need to not be so sensitive when guy viewers are trying to pay a compliment and be kind when she is trying a different style. Most guys I know obviously don’t believe looks define a girl, but we get it when these guys are paying attention..
