If you choose to move to a Google account, there are additional steps you will need to complete in order to continue using Alexa for voice control of Nest devices. After migrating your Nest account to a Google account, follow the below instructions to enable the new Google Nest skill and relink Alexa to your Nest devices.
1.    Log into the Alexa app
2.    Navigate to the ‘Devices’ page by clicking the icon in the bottom right corner and delete any Nest devices. Visit this help page for more information about how to delete smart home devices from the Alexa app: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=help_search_1-1?ie=UTF8&nodeId=201749270&qid=1566312648&sr=1-1
3.    Search for the new skill by searching for “Google Nest” in the ‘Skills & Games’ section of your Alexa app, or click: https://skills-store.amazon.com/deeplink/dp/B07VGB4TWP
4.    Enable the skill and link your Google Account to Alexa
5.    Discover devices by saying “Alexa, discover my devices” or manually add the devices in the Alexa app.
Note that after you have re-added your devices, you may need to rename your devices to your preferred device names and re-create any groups or routines that you previously had made.
