Man, this year has been tough, esoecially when you look at all the natural disasters we have seen.
Houston.
Florida.
Puerto Rico.
Others.
We have a mandate to love others. More importantly, we should love them. Regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, etc. We are all children of our Heavenly Father.
I don’t know about you, but as the severity of damage and loss in Puerto Rico has been assessed and reported, it is overwhelming. We feel compelled to do something, but recognize there is little we can do aside from donate to those who are in a position to really help. In times like these, there is always gratitude for those institutions that are set up, ready to provide relief to large groups in need.
If ever there was a need to “succor the weak, lift up the hands which hang down, and strengthen the feeble knees,” it is in Puerto Rico right now. They are in desperate need of any and all help.
One friend, who has a great love for the people of Puerto Rico, has secured her own way to travel there. While there, she would like to deliver hope to those she loves so dearly. She has provided a simple and easy way for each of us to help her carry that hope and support to the heart of one (or many) suffering in Puerto Rico.
Simply, purchase a t-shirt.
It may seem simple, and it may be such a small token for such tremendous loss, but it is often by “small and simple” means that great things are brought to pass. Join the cause to rebuild, replenish their bodies and revive their hope in humanity.
