The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced last year that they planned to revise the old green hymnbook we have come to know and love over the past 30 years. However, when they announced their plans to revise the hymnbook, they opened it up for the public to give feedback on which hymns they wanted included.

Amazing, right?

Mormon LDS hymnbook changes

The survey they created allowed the public at large to make suggestions about what existing hymns should be added and which should be removed.

Well, more than 45,000 suggestions poured in from all over the world, and one song was requested more than all others.

Which one?

That’s right.

“Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing”
