VIDEO: Thousands Attend Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert

“It was something that I have missed because it had been a while since we were able to gather that many people in one space to be able to be in communion with live music because over the pandemic that just wasn’t possible,” said Broadway singer and actress Lea Salonga, who is a featured guest artist at this year’s Christmas concerts by The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square. The first performance was held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the Conference Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Salt Lake City, Utah. Concerts will also be held on Friday and Saturday nights, December 16 and 17, under the direction of Mack Wilberg, music director of the Choir, and Ryan Murphy, associate music director. Also joining the Choir for this year’s Christmas concert is narrator Sir David Suchet, one of England’s esteemed actors.
