#LightTheWorld 2020: Oh, Come, Let Us Adore Him

Flood social media with the true meaning Christmas!

Come and Behold Him, Born the King of Angels

With Christmas only a few days away, we want to express our heartfelt thanks for all that you’ve done to share Light the World 2020. In a year filled with difficult challenges, these last several weeks of gratitude, service, and hope have made all the difference.

We’d like to remind you of a few more things as we near the end of another beautiful Light the World season:

Share the Gift of The Christ Child

If you’ve watched The Christ Child as part of your Christmas traditions this year, we’d invite you to now share this gift with others. At TheChristChild.org, you can click the “Send as a Gift” red button to share an invitation to friends or loved ones, or you can post a link to The Christ Child on social media.

You can also watch the behind-the-scenes special at TheChristChild.org.

Celebrate Music with Social Sing and Serve

Invite holiday festivities into your heart with jubilant songs and acts of service. The #LightTheWorld Social Sing and Serve event is available to watch on demand anytime. Enjoy it with your family or have it on in the background—fill your home with inspiring music this week!

We’d also love for you to share it with others who might also enjoy singing along to Christmas classics leading up to Christmas day.

Daily Service Prompt for Christmas Day

On Friday, December 25, the prompt is this: “Open your Bible to John 8:12, take a picture, and post it to social media with a message about how Jesus brings light into your life.”

Here is another wonderful opportunity to flood social media with the true meaning Christmas. Amidst the presents and hustle and bustle of the day, we can help ourselves and others focus on the greatest gift of all—our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Christmas is a season of light for a reason. Every ray points us toward the Light of the World, Jesus Christ. That is why we celebrate. He was born for you.

We hope you’ll join in on this special daily service prompt.
