Moses. Nephi. The Brother of Jared.
All worshipped on mountaintops.
And so do many Saints today. Including Peru.
It is amazing where Mormon missionaries serve in the world! From the crowded streets of New York, Tokyo, and Taipei to the quiet, secluded areas of Africa and Peru, missionaries serve with diligence in bringing the Gospel to all the world.
We love seeing the world through the eyes of missionaries!
These pictures were taken by missionary Elder Thatcher, serving in Peru:
“This week, Elder Evangelista and I were able to travel to Curahausi to help with a chapel service project. We went with others from our congregation and painted and cleaned everything in this small chapel in the mountains. The church leaders here say it is a small chapel, but very strong! After painting and cleaning, we had to wait for a ride back so our small group climbed the mountains around the chapel. It’s one the more beautiful places I’ve seen in Peru.”
