The last segment of the Book of Mormon Video Series will coverΒ Mormon 1-7;Β 3 Nephi 5;Β Words of Mormon; andΒ Moroni 7-8. We will film during May 2023 and the locations for this production will be in Utah.
We desperately need BACKGROUND ACTORS (Extras) for this unit. We invite everyone of Native American, Latin American, or Pacific Islander heritage; and our need forΒ ADULT MENΒ is great.
We are filling nearly 1,000 positions:
Over 500 of these are forΒ ADULT MALE SOLDIERS.

Rate:Β Paid. Standard Background Actor rates are a guaranteed $161/12-hour day, on-set lunch and craft service provided. All background actors must βwork as a local,β meaning that no travel nor accommodations are provided.
How To Apply
Step 1: Current Photos
Please take 4 still photos. A current digital snapshot is preferred, taken in natural diffused daylight through a window, on a cloudy day, or in the shade.
- Headshot:Β from the chest upward. Looking at camera.
- Profile:Β from the chest upward. Facing directly to one side.
- Full body, standing, facing camera. Wear comfortable clothing that fairly depicts your natural shape. Please include your feet.
- Full body, profile.
Photos must be well lit, without obstructing accessories like masks, sunglasses, or hats.
Step 2: Record Your Introduction
If you are applying as a Background Actor, no audition is necessary. Although we would love for you to include a short introduction! This step isΒ optional, but very helpful to us as we place people in roles.
(1) Introduce yourself; (2) In less than 30 seconds, tell us why you would like to participate in this Book of Mormon series; (3) Upload to a video sharing site (like YouTube or Vimeo) and enter the URL in your application form.
IMPORTANT:Β Set the privacy settings to βUnlistedβ (NOT βPrivateβ) so we will be able to view it without a password. Only those with the URL address will be able to access your video.

Please submit your applicationΒ as soon as possibleΒ so we can CAST you and keep you apprised of updates. We also strongly encourage you to grow your hair between now and our production if you can. For these roles, long hair is required for all children, teens, and women. It is suggested for men over age 16. No beards.
