Jenny (formerlyphread.com) and I are in Rome and Florence the week leading up to Easter, and had a great opportunity to attend Palm Sunday Mass with the Pope at the courtyard of St. Peter’s Basilica!

Watch the video below to see all the festivities that occur during Palm Sunday mass!

I was surprised how many similarities there are between their mass and our sacrament. My appreciation for other faith traditions and how they worship was definitely heightened (and it also made me very appreciative of our beliefs and the covenants I have made with others and my Heavenly Father). There are good people everywhere who want to serve the #PrinceOfPeace and others in all nations and all religions!

How are you preparing for Easter this season? Have you been to comeuntochrist.org to see the latest video about our Savior? Please comment below.

President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints shares a story illustrating how to find peace in troubling times and circumstances. As the world seeks relief from the stains of a disrupted year, President Nelson reminds us there is only one way to find the solemnity and tranquility of lasting peaceβ€”the enduring peace that passes all understanding. That surpassing peace is found in Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.

Early on Sunday morning, before the sun began to rise, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb to finish a painful task, the burial of her beloved Lord and Master. The pain and agony she must have felt as she mourned the Savior’s death is beyond comprehension. As one of the Lord’s most faithful and devoted followers, Christ’s appearance to Mary that Easter morn, places her as the first witness of the resurrection! Knowing Jesus was willing to reveal himself first to her, gives us all hope that we too can testify of the Savior’s divinity no matter who we are!
