Bookmarks and favorites, those words work interchangeably in the web world.  Whether your hobby is gardening, cooking or in my case, family history, you can accumulate hundreds of bookmarks and favorites.  But there is one toolbar that can help make that journey a bit easier in the LDS World.  It is called LDSToolbar.com.  Just as the name implies, this is a download-able toolbar that will install itself with the following browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari (they are working on something for Chrome for the future). When you start your download, the software detects which browser you are using and provides the correct download.

Each category is separated into folders such as; Official LDS Websites, Auxiliaries, Merchandise, Music, Crafts and so much more.  All of it pertaining to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I have been using LDSToolbar for about a year now and it has come in handy for talks, looking for LDS Clip Art and Emergency Preparedness.  The iPhone website is available for iPhone and iTouch users by visiting http://iphone.ldstoolbar.com and if for some reason you don’t use any of the above browsers, you can view their directory of sites online at www.ldstoolbar.com/directory.  But keep in mind that the online version is updated only once a month, vs the toolbar is updated all the time.  There are nearly 400 links available and so far there are over 1,300 people using LDSToolbar. And the best part, it is FREE.

Oh, did I mention that there is also a built-in radio for LDS listening?  And that you have a search box where you can search Official LDS sites and search the online LDS Scriptures at LDS.org?  And if you look real close, you might be able to find our website in their directory. Okay, enough said, I think you get the picture and will need to check this out for yourself.  Visit www.ldstoolbar.com for more information and to download.

I know this is a new feature that google has added to chrome. Has anyone else seen this? Maybe I have a redirect virus, but this is the only site I have ever seen this on.

    Any thoughts?
