In late nineteenth-century Russia, Martin Avdeitch is a humble shoemaker whose life has been characterized by grief. Through multiple experiences he finds the courage to look outside himself and trust in the goodness of God.

  1. This touched my heart and gave me the desire to truly serve. No matter how much or little I have, to be like Christ I must love and give. And to serve others is serving the lord. Such a great movie to welcome Christmas.
