As of the beginning of April 2020, there have been 90,514 downloads of the app with over 940,000 launches. Book of Mormon Central is at the forefront of building enduring faith in Jesus Christ by making everything about the Book of Mormon accessible and comprehensible.

Book of Mormon Central received a digital scripture license from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to use the latest edition of the Book of Mormon in the ScripturePlus app. The release of this app coincided with the Church’s Come Follow Me curriculum that switched to The Book of Mormon in January 2020.

The ScripturePlus app is the first truly interactive version of the LDS Scriptures. The Android and iOS versions are available in both English and Spanish. The app’s features include the full text readily supplemented with videos, images, related quotations, charts, maps, and more.

“The ScripturePlus app has revolutionized the way people study The Book of Mormon and all the other Standard Works,” Taylor Halvorsen, PhD said. “We’ve received incredibly positive feedback about the app and how it has benefited people of all ages in their scripture study.”
