Sister Andrea Muñoz Spannaus, serving as the second counselor in the Young Women general presidency, delivered a message titled “Faithful to the End” during the Saturday evening session of the April 2024 general conference. She outlined six key strengths essential for individuals striving to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.

In her #GeneralConference address, Sister Spannaus drew parallels between David’s preparation with five stones before facing Goliath and the strengths needed for triumph in life. These strengths include love for God, faith in Jesus Christ, knowledge of true identity, daily repentance, and access to God’s power.

She emphasized that cultivating a deep love for God and maintaining a close relationship with Him empowers individuals to transform their hearts and overcome challenges more effectively. Faith in Jesus Christ involves complete trust in His wisdom, timing, love, and redemptive power.

Sister Spannaus reiterated President Russell M. Nelson’s teachings regarding the significance of recognizing oneself as children of God, children of covenant, and disciples of Jesus Christ. She highlighted the importance of repentance, affirming that forgiveness is attainable for all individuals.

Moreover, Sister Spannaus emphasized the power of covenants with God, which grant access to divine strength and assistance in facing trials and making righteous decisions. She emphasized that testimony, developed through personal spiritual experiences, serves as a sixth essential strength, providing individuals with unshakeable knowledge of divine influence in their lives.
