Excel Entertainment, the distributor behind such noted films as 17 Miracles, The Work & The Glory, and The Cokeville Miracle, among many others, is releasing TREK in theatres on Friday, April 6, 2018.

A special thanks to WHITE ELEGANCE for providing much of the pioneer trek clothing, and to THIS IS THE PLACE heritage park for hosting us!

On March 22, noted LDS online personalities met at THIS IS THE PLACE Heritage Park just outside Salt Lake City. Watch them online for instastories and Instagram Lives and Facebook Lives at the event tonight!

What happened at the event?

Shortened version of a trek (approx. 1 mile) to include “feats of strength.”
BBQ/chuckwagon dinner
Live acoustic band
Activities for the kids (train rides, baby animals, teach them about pioneer life in the village, etc.)
Exclusive screening of Trek: The Movie

We had a fun filled day at @thisistheplaceheritagepark doing a mini trek reenactment and watching a screening of @trekthemovie – a lot of the trekkers wore amazing costumes from @whiteeleganceclothing and @sugarhousebbqcompany made sure we were well fed. If you have ever been on a trek, go see the movie! It opens in theaters April 6th in Utah. Yesterday we found out the band wasn’t coming to our big Trek The Movie influencer premiere. @kamkakes29 our campaign manager, daringly asked the three of us to step it up and create the “Bottom of the Barrel, Beggin, Bumblin, Bootstrappin, Boys Band.” I think Soren, my 1-year-old son, was our biggest fan. I’m quite positive we had more fun than the folks listening. I absolutely love team @articulateagency – Thanks #trekthemovie for working with us, can’t wait to see it in the theater!
