The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has released an updated chart showcasing the leadership changes effective April 2024. This chart includes the newly sustained members of the the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles (Patrick Kearon), who serve as special witnesses of Jesus Christ and hold the priesthood authority to guide the global church.

As of April 2024, the First Presidency consists of President Russell M. Nelson, President Dallin H. Oaks, and President Henry B. Eyring. These leaders oversee the affairs of the Church and provide spiritual guidance to its members worldwide.

The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, the second-highest governing body in the Church, has also undergone changes. The current members of the Quorum are:

      1. Jeffrey R. Holland
      2. Dieter F. Uchtdorf
      3. David A. Bednar
      4. Quentin L. Cook
      5. D. Todd Christofferson
      6. Neil L. Andersen
      7. Ronald A. Rasband
      8. Gary E. Stevenson
      9. Dale G. Renlund
      10. Gerrit W. Gong
      11. Ulisses Soares
      12. Patrick Kearon

These Apostles work in unity with the First Presidency to oversee the growth and development of the Church, which has a presence in over 160 countries and territories.

The updated chart also reflects the appointment of Elder Alexander Dushku as a General Authority Seventy, whose sustaining will take place during the October 2023 general conference.

The Young Women General Presidency, who began their service on August 1, 2023, are President Emily Belle Freeman, Sister Tamara W. Runia as First Counselor, and Sister Andrea MuΓ±oz Spannaus as Second Counselor.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is led by a group of men who hold the priesthood authority to act in the name of Jesus Christ. The First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles are called to be special witnesses of Christ and to lead the Church under His direction.

The Quorum of the Twelve Apostles was first organized in 1835 and has played a vital role in the growth and development of the Church. Throughout its history, many faithful and dedicated men have served as members of this quorum, contributing to the Church’s mission of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and administering sacred ordinances.

As the Church continues to grow and adapt to the needs of its members, the leadership remains committed to following the guidance of Jesus Christ and serving with love and compassion. The updated chart for April 2024 reflects the Church’s ongoing efforts to organize its leadership in a way that best serves its global membership.
