Take a moment to imagine what it would be like if you could listen to one of your favorite leaders from ancient scripture.

What if Noah had a message to share with you today? Or Abish? Or Sariah? How about James, one of the apostles?

Would you make time to hear them speak?

The interesting thing is, in ancient times, many people didn’t take the opportunity to listen to these powerful voices when they were living. And that same pattern continues today.

Right now, we have the incredible blessing of living prophets, apostles and disciples, men and women who share God’s messages with the world, just like Noah or Abish did in their time.

President Russell M. Nelson, our prophet, speaks to us today with the same divine authority as prophets of old, and modern women like Abish are sharing God’s messages as well.

The amazing thing is, anyone in the world has access to these sacred messages during General Conference, just a couple of weeks away!

But, just as it happened in ancient days, not everyone will make the choice to listen to the prophet’s voice.

Let’s not miss out on this opportunity. Let’s be among those who choose to listen, to be part of something truly extraordinary. This is living history unfolding before our eyes. By tuning in to General Conference, we are participating in the ongoing Restoration of all things, hearing truths that are meant to guide us in our day. Don’t just observe this moment—be an active part of it! Be part of General Conference!

The new temple recommend interview questions: What exactly has changed?

President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints continued his fervent focus on improving the faith’s temple worship Sunday at the concluding session of the 189th Semiannual General Conference. He read an updated list of questions Church members will be asked when receiving a temple recommend. The new questions are below. Temple recommend questions have been periodically clarified or adjusted to meet the needs and circumstances of God’s children. These current updates clarify, but do not change, worthiness requirements to enter a temple.
