I have used these and love them and find them very helpful, however, I was talking to a friend of mine who is a professional mover and he told me why he will never use them or allow his people to use them. He said he has seen on more than one occasion, people using these and taking a large item of furniture down stairs and the first person going down the stairs (backwards) stumbles or trips and not only do they fall, they pull the other person and the furniture on top of them causing significant injury and damage.
