Elder Carlos A. Godoy, a General Authority Seventy, and his wife, Mônica, will be featured speakers at a Worldwide Devotional for Young Adults on May 5, 2024.
The Godoys address topics such as strengthening family relationships, fostering personal revelation, and the blessings of discipleship.
Elder Godoy has served as a General Authority Seventy since April 5, 2008, and as a member of the Presidency of the Seventy since March 2018. While he will be released from the Presidency on August 1, he will continue his service as a General Authority Seventy. Together, Elder and Sister Godoy previously served as mission leaders in the Brazil Belém Mission.
The devotional will be broadcast live at 6 p.m. MDT on ChurchofJesusChrist.org, Gospel Stream, and the Church’s YouTube channel, with availability on Gospel Library afterward.
Viewers are encouraged to attend local viewings with friends and discuss the principles taught during the devotional.
The event will be accessible in multiple languages, with captions provided for English, Spanish, and Portuguese broadcasts. A rebroadcast in 40 additional languages will occur on May 12 at midnight MDT.
