This is just a quick update to let you know about some things going on here:

  1. We changed our permalink structure. What does this mean? Well it means that to get to our recent post on removing wrinkles without an iron, you used to go to this URL: http://mormonlifehacker.com/2011/11/remove-clothing-wrinkles-without-an-iron.html, but if you click that link, you’ll see you’re redirected to the new URL:Β http://mormonlifehacker.com/remove-clothing-wrinkles-without-an-iron/Β which is slightly tidier, by removing the year and month.
  2. Changing our permalink structure allowed us to implement a new feature, where a random older MLH article will appear on the home page, once a week. This allows newer readers to be introduced to stuff we’ve previously written about, and reminds long-time readers of life hacks they may have forgotten.

In fact, if you look at the home page right now, or at the RSS feed, you’ll see that the post Why Every Bishop Needs Google Voice, which was originally posted about a year ago, is now on a few posts behind this one. We’re excited about this feature because that post is just asΒ relevantΒ now, as it was when Kurt wrote it!

Let us know what you think of these new features.
