As the COVID-19 pandemic intensified in Utah last month, health care professionals began to prepare for a surge of sick patients and a converse decrease in protective medical gear for those who would treat them. To find a solution, they turned to a most unlikely place — the Relief Society of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
President Russell M Nelson was born in 1924. In his lifetime, the membership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in South America has grown from a handful to over 4 million. And according to him, “There’s much more to come.”
