The parable of the bar of iron

A bar of iron cost $5.
If made into horseshoes, it’s then worth $12.
If it’s then made into needles, it’s worth jumps up to $3,500.
However, if it is used to make balance springs for watches, its worth jumps up again to a staggering $300,000.
Our innate value never changes, but our self-worth is often determined by what we (through Christ) are able to make of ourselves!

Corianton’s sins did not change his value to his father or Heavenly Father.
What we do and make of ourselves is often based on our own free will and choice.
Corianton, like all of us, made some mistakes but ultimately prevailed. Let’s all work to become watch springs.
