This musical masterpiece by George Frideric Handel, first performed in the spring of 1742, has become one of the world’s most beloved musical works. To celebrate the Easter Season, The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square will present Handel’s beloved oratorio Messiah. This Messiah tradition continues to be a wonderful way to celebrate the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Christ with people all over the world.
