Free ‘Family Proclamation’ Wall Art, for the 20th Anniversary

20 years ago today on 23 Sept. 1995 “The Family: a Proclamation to the World” was issued by The First Presidency and Council of the Twelve Apostles. It was read by President Gordon B. Hinckley at the General Relief Society Meeting.

In celebration of the 2 decade anniversary, a very talented MLH reader (who didn’t want any credit) created some artwork utilizing important phrases from the Proclamation for his wife to hang in their home.

He’s chosen to share that art with all of us, free. It was designed to be printed on six 16 x 20-inch canvases, then hung on the wall in very classy-looking wall collage arrangement. He provided all 6 in both vertical and horizontal formats, so that you can choose your own arrangement. Here’s some ideas he provided, to get you started:

Costco does pretty nice canvas prints if you want to go nice, but not too expensive. The artist said they got a Groupon deal that allowed them to do all 6 on canvas for under $100. You could also print them smaller as photos or even at a copy shop at 11 x 17, if you’d like to go cheaper. Or if you want something high-end and really cool looking, you could print on metal and mount them out from the wall about an inch. I really like that last look, but it’s not cheap.

Whatever route you choose, you’ll have some great looking artwork for your home or office, that invites the spirit by highlighting principles from this inspired document. You can look through the photos below. But click HERE to download the full-resolution versions for printing.

Again, don’t just save the images above, make sure to download the full-resolutions images for sending to the printer.
