Family History Conference at BYU the End of July

The 43 annual BYU Conference on Family History & Genealogy is coming up the end of July. This year the theme is “strengthening ties that bind families together” and the conference will offer over 100 classes covering topics such as: New FamilySearch, FamilySearch, Using Computers, Internet and Technology, Computer Tools Hands–on–Workshop, Church Records Worldwide, Writing Family Histories, Research Methodologies, United States Research, British Research, International Research, Scandinavian and German Research.

I’ve been to this conference before and it’s excellent. If you’d like to attend, here’s the critical details:

When: July 26-29 2011

Where: BYU Conference Center (770 East University Parkway, Provo, Utah)

Cost: $175 for regular attendees, or $440 if you’d like to take classes for college credit (you’ll get 2 credits of History 481R—Family History Directed Research)
