Elder Gerrit W. Gong, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, delivered a discourse titled “All Things for Your Good” during the Saturday afternoon session of the April 2024 general conference. Furthermore, Elder Gong noted that faithful individuals and families worldwide are currently facing challenges with the belief that these trials will ultimately lead to unforeseen blessings. He emphasized the transformative potential of enduring trials with faith, recognizing that even the most difficult circumstances can bring about unexpected blessings for oneself and others.
He encouraged listeners to cultivate an eternal perspective, understanding that trials are temporary and part of mortal existence. He emphasized the sacredness of temple blessings and encouraged increased temple attendance, highlighting the blessings, protection, and inspiration gained through temple worship and service.
