| When Jesus Christ was on the cross, He wasn’t there alone. Others were crucified alongside Him. Even though all of them were facing certain death, Jesus, in the midst of His great suffering, was able to help others see past the pain of mortality to something brighter. When one of those being crucified asked Jesus to remember him in the next life, Jesus told him, “Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
