Ivan Junius Barrett (April 4, 1910 – August 16, 1999) was an American author, professor, and historian of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). Barrett was born in Mendon, Utah. As a young man he served in the LDS Church’s Central States Mission.
