The October 2023 Edition of the World Report
The October 2023 edition of the World Report features the Church’s humanitarian initiatives in regions such as Maui, Türkiye, Syria and Africa.
Additionally, it provides insight into the global impact of the Light the World Giving Machines.
The program also presents updates on temples worldwide, notably the inauguration of the first temple of the Church of Jesus Christ in Thailand. It offers a glimpse into the Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square’s inaugural world tour concert in Mexico City. Furthermore, it highlights the spiritual progress and expansion of the Church Educational System.
Viewers will also gain insight into the ministry of the faith’s leadership, including the First Presidency, Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and General Officers. Noteworthy events featured include President Russell M. Nelson receiving Morehouse College’s inaugural Gandhi-King-Mandela Peace Prize in April 2023 and Relief Society General President Camille N. Johnson’s participation in Notre Dame’s Religious Freedom Law Symposium in London.
