The Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) was named the top attraction in Hawaii per a USA Today reader poll.
A survey called 10Best Readers’ Choice Poll asked USA Today readers to rank their favorite top 20 attractions in Hawaii and the Polynesian Cultural Center was voted No. 1; Pearl Harbor Historic Sites was second; with Hawaii’s Tropical Botanical Garden finished third, according to a press release.
For the past four weeks, 10Best readers have been voting daily for their favorite must-see Hawaii attractions, and the results came in! Rounding out the 10 winners in the category Best Hawaii Attraction are:
Polynesian Cultural Center – Oahu
Pearl Harbor Historic Sites – Oahu
Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden – Big Island
Iolani Palace – Oahu
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park – Big Island
Haleakala National Park – Maui
Napali Coast – Kauai
Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum – Oahu
Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve – Oahu
Road to Hana – Maui
A panel of experts partnered with 10Best editors to picked the initial 20 nominees, and the top 10 winners were determined by popular vote. Experts Sheila Beal (GoVisitHawaii.com), Cheryl Chee Tsutsumi (Honolulu Star-Advertiser), John Fischer, Jake Marote, Douglas Peebles (Pacific Island Images) and Jimmy Wilkinson were chosen based on their knowledge and experience of travel in the islands.
