A new Alexa feature allows children to listen to The Friend magazine on Amazon smart speakers.

The Friend is a publication for children published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

With this new feature, parents can enable The Friend skill on their Amazon Echo or other Alexa-enabled devices and then say “Alexa, ask The Friend to read the latest issue.”

The device will then play an audio recording of the most recent edition of The Friend, which includes stories, messages, and activities for children.
