Have you ever forgotten which side the gas tank is on? It’s so frustrating. You have to drive up to the gas pump and then turn the car around to get to the other side. Or if you’re lucky, you can just drive up to the other side.

Quick answer: just check your dashboard and notice the direction the arrow is pointing.

  1. Technically, the arrow actually points to the side that the filler tube is on (not the tank). Many gas stations today have a long enough hose to reach both sides of the vehicle. It’s worth checking out about your gas stations hose length.
