Exodus 24:1–11

As you read in Exodus 24:3–8 about the Israelites covenanting to obey Godβs law, your thoughts may turn to the covenants you have made with God.
Israelβs covenant included rituals that are different from what God requires today, but you may notice some similarities, especially if you consider the eternal truths symbolized by these rituals.
For example, verses 4, 5, and 8 mention an altar, animal sacrifices, and blood. What could these things represent, and how do they relate to your covenants? How can your covenants help you do βall that the Lord hath saidβ? (verse 7).
