Utah artist Kathleen Peterson painted “Abish and the Queen” in 2015. It appeared in the book, “Girls Who Choose God: Stories of Strong Women from the Book of Mormon” published by Deseret Book in 2017, but can only be found online in the Book of Mormon Art Catalog (with generous permission from the artist). Peterson’s work often focuses on the daily, lived experiences of women and highlights the role of female figures in the scriptures.
