No More Feedburner Emails
Previously we had an option where people could sign up for email updates via Feedburner. This has been killed as of today. If you were one of these subscribers, we’ll send you an email encouraging you to signup for our new email newsletter, which is managed via MailChimp. The email newsletter signup form that’s been in our sidebar (just to the right with the orange title bar) since the beginning of 2013, will sign you up for this new newsletter. Or signup here:
This email newsletter only goes out twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. So even if we post more frequently than that, you won’t be bothered with lots of emails in your inbox.
Google Reader is Dead, Try Feedly
If you hadn’t heard, Google is killing it’s Reader webapp on July 1st. If you use Google Reader to read MLH posts, we encourage you to either signup for the email newsletter above, or try out Feedly. Feedly has a super-clean interface, and best of all, it includes a really simple setup process that lets you import your data from Google Reader. Once you do that, your MLH subscription, along with all your other subscriptions, will continue working in Feedly after Google Reader dies on July 1.
A Few Design Updates
I’m always trying to improve MLH. Lately I’ve tried to simplify and clean up the design a little bit. More improvements will come with time. If you have any suggestions, feel free to contact me about them (especially if you’re willing to offer CSS, etc to make it happen).
