Filter Profanity on Twitter With a Plugin

By: Tevya Washburn  In: language, social media  On: January 12, 2012

foul fowl control1 250x133 Filter Profanity on Twitter With a PluginMike Grace has created a cool plugin for Firefox and an extension for Chrome that filters profanity out of tweets on twitter. It’s a really simple fix. Just head over to his post, scroll down a bit and click the appropriate plugin for your browser. That’s it! Now profanity will automatically be filtered out of feeds when you’re on twitter. If you’re on Twitter a lot, but don’t like those words going through your head, this is the perfect solution!

Let us know what you think. Do you have any profanity or similar filters that you use?
