The SD1100 IS is an 8.0MP camera, which is very high resolution and will print nicely even at sizes larger than 8.5×11″. This model even has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).Β What that means is that the camera actually has small motors inside that move the lenses arround to compensate if you’re moving or shaking slightly when you snap the photo.Β It cuts way down on pictures that end up being blury when you get them on your computer or print them.Β Now it’s not a magic thing that will fix all blury photos, you still want to do your best to be as still as possible when taking any pictures, but OIS will help to make it so a lot more turn out sharp and crisp.
